The service
Segmentit is a service provided by ARCY. The current version lets you create a free account, organise private projects, upload photos, prepare and save manual selections, inspect existing models in a 3D library and download their GLB files.
Automatic object selection with SAM 3 and 3D generation with SAM 3D run on Modal when you request them, subject to the features enabled for your account and the credits required for the operation. Editing a mask alone does not change an existing 3D model; a separate generation request is needed to produce a new model.
Account and access
The application requires authentication through WorkOS, using Google, a one-time email code or the available AuthKit flow. Use an email address you can access and protect your mailbox and sign-in methods. Do not share your sign-in codes.
You must have the legal capacity and permissions needed to use the service and to act for an organisation if you use it on its behalf. Contact contact@arcy.app if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.
Signing out closes the session; it does not delete your account or projects. You can request account deletion at the same address. The privacy policy explains how personal data is handled.
Your photos and projects
Only upload content you are entitled to use with this service. This includes rights in depicted works and any necessary permissions relating to people in a photo. Do not upload sensitive or confidential data unless you are authorised to entrust it to the service.
The application accepts JPEG, PNG and WebP images up to the displayed limit of 5 MiB per file. File metadata, including EXIF, is not automatically removed. You can remove it before uploading.
You retain your rights in uploaded content. You authorise ARCY and its technical providers to host it, process it for the functions you request and display it to you within your private workspace. This permission is limited to providing the service and the time needed to do so, subject to legal retention obligations. It does not transfer ownership or authorise publication, promotional use or model training.
You can delete a project in the application. Deletion removes its active data and files; a technical failure requires cleanup to be retried. Keep your own copy of files you need. Backups and account requests are covered in the privacy policy.
3D library and downloads
Library models exist before you use Segmentit. Downloading one does not grant rights beyond its licence. Check the sources, licences and modifications in the model credits in the footer, and retain any required attribution.
Sheen Chair is offered under CC0; Crawler crane, The Thinker and Shoes - Photogrammetry (morepolys) under CC BY 4.0. These licences apply to the named models, not to all website content. Check a file’s scale, textures and compatibility in your software before using it in a project.
Accounts, credits and paid offers
Creating an account is free. Paid subscriptions and credit packs are purchased through Stripe when purchasing is enabled for your account. AI operations use credits according to the cost displayed before you start them and the access enabled for your account.
The pricing page presents the offers, prices, credits and applicable limits. The amount to pay is shown on the Stripe checkout page before confirmation. Creating a free account does not purchase a pack or subscribe you to a paid plan; a purchase requires a separate confirmation.
Availability and acceptable use
The service may be interrupted for maintenance, fixes or incidents. This version does not include a service-level commitment, guaranteed processing time or unlimited capacity. This information does not limit any mandatory rights you have.
Do not use Segmentit to infringe others’ rights, host unlawful content, bypass access controls, access other users’ projects or disrupt the service. Technical limits and proportionate restrictions may be applied to prevent abuse or protect accounts. You can report a problem or challenge a restriction at contact@arcy.app.
Changes and contact
Features and these terms may change. The update date appears on this page; affected users will be informed of a material change to access conditions. A change to this page does not authorise a charge.
