# One photo. Choose what becomes 3D.

A tool on a workbench. A hat in a portrait. Focus on the object you need, even when the photo contains much more.

## Keep the object. Leave the clutter.

The selection defines the subject of the reconstruction. Distinguish the handle from nearby tools, check its edges and keep the parts that belong together. A careful selection gives the next step a clearer starting point.

- Focus on a single object in a busy image.
- Separate references into individual assets.
- Check the silhouette before reconstruction.

## From your photo to your project.

1. ### Find your object.

Choose the subject within the source photo. Nearby objects should stay outside its silhouette.

2. ### Check the selection.

Look at thin parts, gaps and overlapping edges. A selected silhouette is still 2D at this stage.

3. ### Reconstruct the object.

Use the isolated subject as the input for 3D reconstruction, then inspect its shape before exporting.

## Before you begin.

**How do I isolate an object?**

Click your subject or describe it to create a selection. Refine the outline in the studio and keep exactly the parts you want to use.

**Can I download the cutout image?**

Yes. Save your selection as a transparent PNG, ready for a moodboard, a presentation or a new visual. You can also continue straight to 3D creation.

**Can I create several objects from one photo?**

Yes. Give each subject its own selection, refine its outline and choose which objects to turn into 3D. Keep your creations together in the same project.
