# About Segmentit

Segmentit is a browser-based studio for turning objects in your photos into 3D models.

## The studio

1.  ### Select
    
    Upload a photo, select an object and refine its outline.
    
2.  ### Generate
    
    Create the 3D model, then rotate it to check its shape and details.
    
3.  ### Export
    
    Download the model as GLB or the selection as a transparent PNG.
    

Your photos, selections and models stay together in your projects.

## What you can use it for

Build a 3D scene, try an interior layout or create props for a game prototype.

Generation estimates surfaces missing from the photo. Check the model before using it; some editing may be needed.
